Well, I am 38 week and 2 days and just lost my mucus plug this morning with some bloody show. I am not sure what the best time to lose mucus plug in pregnancy is. I hope that means that something is making. I would like to know how much time before labor begins after losing your mucus plug.

I am almost 40 weeks and I haven't lost my mucas plug yet. But I'm waiting and hoping. How will I know when I am in labor, I mean I am not having contractions and also my doctor hasn't checked me to see if I am dilating or what not. I am not even sure how does mucas plug look like. I don’t know what the best time for mucus plug in pregnancy is. It seems that it’s different with everyone.
