biaxin constipation

I was diagnosed pneumonia and have been on biaxin for last 9 days. I lost my appetite, so I usually take the tablet without food. I don’t know if it caused constipation. I suffer belly ache and have cramps. I’m just sick of chicken soup and can’t eat as enough as I probably should. Did that cause constipation? What should I do now?

Well, biaxin is an antibiotic and it’s not unusual to cause intestinal disorders. You also couls develop diarrhoea too. I had diarhea while was on biaxin, and had to take plenty of fluid not to lead to dehydration. You shoulkd probably force yourself to take a food because of immunity and defence system of your body.
