I decided to do bikini wax for the first time in my life. I was so embarrassed when the woman who performs waxing asked me do I want Brazilian or regular bikini wax. I said:” regular please” and that is why I didn’t know what Brazilian bikini wax is. Please, tell me the difference between regular and Brazilian bikini wax. Is there some Brazilian standard for waxing? By the way it was very painful!

Ok listen; I don’t think there is a “Brazilian standard” as you said. A Brazilian bikini wax includes the labia and the area that reaches into the buttocks. I did once and it wasn’t that much painful, but I guess that is individual thing. However, I prefer regular bikini wax.
Regular bikini wax is generally a bit more conservative than the Brazilian. It concentrates on extra hair around the bikini line and the 'crotch' area in between the legs so you can sit Indian style on a beach blanket and not worry that you might look 'unkempt'.
