The other day I saw an add in newspapers-biofeedback equipment needed. Since I know a little something about eeg feedback, this made me wonder how much does this equipment cost. Can a therapist make some decent money with therapies or not? I'm asking this because I know how much eeg biofeedback helped my little sister with her anxiety disorder. Can I become a therapist in this profession?
Well it all depends on your former education. I'll give you a list of professions that are allowed to start biofeedback therapist program: medical doctors and related professionals such as nurses, educational counselors, speech therapists etc. Yes, even coaches and teachers can participate in this program. As for the money, one session costs from fifty to hundred and fifty dollars in USA, which means that equipment is not less then several thousand dollars.
