ok so tuesday i went to the doctor and got a pelvic exam/pap smear........ the doctor decided to put me on birthcontrol to regulate my periods...the doctor did know i had sex recently and could have been pregnant....if she prescribed me birthcontrol does that mean im NOT pregnant???? (im still waiting for my pap results) *******************any answers would help being that no one has answered any of my other questions***************
I would wait until the first day of your next period to start your BC pills. If there is a chance you could be pregnant, in my opinion, it would be better to wait and find out. You could also call your DR's office and let them know there is a possibility of you being pregnant and get their advice.
If doctor already gave you the pills most likely it's because he is sure that you're not pregnant. You'll positively know when you get you're results back but I think it's better to wait with the pill until you're sure that you're not pregnant
