birth control pills for bi-polars

My girlfriend is bipolar and she wants to go on birth control pills. Are there any birth control pills that bipolar women can use? Thanks in advance!

I am not sure whether birth control pills for bipolar women are good option. With “normal” women they make some mood swings and similar stuff, so I am really not sure if birth control pill for your girl is a good option. On the other hand, I heard that St. John's wort pills do not work that way. Maybe she could try with these ones... or best would be to talk to doctor or gynecologist.

i had severe mood swings before i went to the doctor about birth control my doctor perscribed YAZ it helps with mood swings appetite acne its really a woman's answered prayer if you ask me maybe your gf should ask her doc about it so olva you are right but wrong at the same time
