Im 17 and have had my period for 3 years every month. however, this month instead of when I should get my period I got a black secretion that lasted one day and was very light. my mom said that it is normal and is just old blood. I am not sexual active and have been dieting and exercising for the past 2 months but I play sports so it is not rare for me to do physical activity. Is my mom right? should I be worried?

Your mom is right. You are fine. If you are still worried ask your mom to take you to the gyno.
