Please help me. My only son, three months of age has bladder problems. It seems that it all happened while he was in womb; doctors said that he was probably swallowing a lot of amnion fluid thus causing bladder problems. They explained me the methods that could be used in his treatment, but they all seem so invasive, including an operation. However, they also mentioned some new method that involves regeneration of bladder cells. We are all waiting for new results of his test, and then doctors will choose the therapy method. Can you tell me something about these bladder cells method?

Actually, we could say that technique of regenerating and rebuilding organ by using patient's own cell is something like a milestone of future medicine. Rebuilding organs for every patient should be quite common thing, and very effective way of treating various types of diseases. In 2006, this kind of therapy was performed on seven young patents in Boston suffering from damaged bladder. Bladders were completely rebuilt; it was a complete medical success. Therefore, there are ways for your kid to get better, both standard and inovative ones, just be patient.
