bleeding 10 weeks after giving birth

i gave birth to my son 10 weeks ago. i started back on birth control about 6 weeks postpartum and my first 2 periods seemed normal. now all of a sudden i am bleeding like a period but it only lasts a few days then goes away. it seems to be happening when i wear tight jeans, mainly the ones that used to fit before i was pregnant. there is a slight dicsomfort but nothing like period cramps. could the tight clothing pushing on my stomach cause me to bleed? should i contact a doctor or just stop wearing tight pants?
