Im 18 weeks pregnant at the moment and am finding it very painful to pass waste. There is also small amounts of blood on the tissue afterward. The sensation i feel is that of the anus tearing each time and then a substantial amount of stinging for approx 15-20 minutes afterward. I eat large amounts of fruit to try and make things easier but that doesnt seem to make a difference. Should i use vasoline to help pass waste for a while to give the anus a chance to heal? Is the pregnancy causing this or is it some other underlying problem that i should visit my G.P about?
