| I am a 26 year old female with a history of spotting between periods. This has been going on for about 5 years. I spot for 2-3 days during ovulation, usually light pink to brown discharge, sometimes with pelvic discomfort. I've had 5 transvaginal ultrasounds, and they found small ovarian cysts. On my most recent visit 4 months ago, my doctor said there was activity in my ovary and that she wanted to monitor it. So, in 5 years, I've gotten no clears answers or reasons why this is happening. This month, it got worse. I've been spotting for 12 days straight with heavier bleeding. My period is not due for another week. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? If so, could you give me some suggestions? |
