blisters on the back of my tongue

Hi. I just came back from vacation and I tought that I had caught a cold. When I breath deeply, it makes me cough. No fever, just very tired yesterday. And tonight, I noticed a bunch of blisters on the back of my tongue and on the side. Could it be food allergy ? Thanks for answering

I just developed the same think two days ago. The blisters are in the back on one side of my tongue and the on the sides of my tongue. I have smoked for twenty years so it kinda scared me. Then last week I ate asparagus three times so I wondered if that could have done it. I also have a terrible headache that will not go away ever since the blisters.
