bloating

Hi I gave birth 6 months ago and i look like im pregnant still
i don't know what it's from it's almost like my upper tummy is bloated and i don't know what i should to minimize the bloating.

I gave natural birth to a large baby, 11 lbs 10 ounces, 8 months ago. My stomach looks worse to me now than the week after. It is hard and hurts. It feels distended and uncomfortable. My husband says its normal because I had such a big baby...but I was back at my pre-preg wieght a month afer delivery...this seems anything but normal to me. I am still wearing maternity pants only. Also, I have taken 2 pregnancy tests, both neg. I sometimes feel twitching or moving in my abdominals? When I breastfeed I often feel a rapid thumping down there....or some kind of flip.

Any ideas? Or is this just normal stuff? I hate to bother my doctor because things have been "awkward" between us since the birth. See, I wanted to induce 2 weeks early because of the pain and I was already dialated...but she would not and filled my head with scary stuff about lungs with fluid and breathing problems....and she said the baby was only 8 lbs...so I waited....but come on guys SHE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THE BABY WAS ALMOST 12 lbs and let me have a c-section. I didn't even get my epidural. So, yes, I am a bit traumatized and reluctant to call her about my now swollen belly.

Any help or clues here would help. Even if I do go to Dr. I would like to know what to expect or ask.
