I just went to the breast Doctor to see what what going on with bloody discharge from nipple. The ultrasound and mammogram came back neg. but saw something oblong in the duct. He(doc) want to make a cut under my nipple and biopcy the tissue. Is this standard process should I seek a 2nd opinion? My mom survived breast cancer , 10 years later die from stomach cancer.
You may wish to get a second opinion however, as I'm sure you know the likelihood of breastcancer is much greater for you. Blood from breats definetly means that something is amiss. Did the also run blood work? If so what type? This is something that needs to be looked at asap.
