blood in stool

i'm a 21/female and i got my tonsils out and the codeine i was one made me constipated. i tried n tried my hardest twice or so to pass but just wasnt gonna happen. i took a stimulant laxative(never taken any kind of laxative in my life) because i was desperate. waited the 12 hours and nothing happened. so i took stool softeners the next day and finally went the same day. ive been going pretty much everyday now. not back to 100% with it just yet but i've been slowly eating stuff from my ususal diet. ive never had problems before at all. i always get enough fiber and stay as active as i can and always go regularly. its been about a week since i took those 2 things and i went to the bathroom today and my poop is still light and soft looking but when i wiped there was a little blood. should i be concerned?? i didnt really look at the actual poop so i dont know if there was any in there as well. any help would be appreciated. thanks
