blood in urine 10 weeks post op Green Light PVP Prostate Surgery

Continue to have blood in urine periodically with big clots of blood following PVP Green Light Laser Surgery. Doctor says this is normal for laser surgery on very enlarged prostate.

I am 12 weeks post laser proceedure and am also experiencing daily heavy bleeding and clots, primarily in the morning. My urologist says this is out of the norm, but contends that unless this bleeding subsides in another 2-3 months he'll need to put me bac k into surgey to remove these clots.

He did use a scope to try and find the bleeders, but was unable to locate them. Says I had much tissue yet yo be urinated out, but nothing apparent to cause the bleeding.
