bloody nose while sleeping at night

my son is 2, will be 3 in july, this is the 3rd time now he has woken up in the middle of the night with a bloody nose. should i be worried? i do plan on taking him to see his dr. next week but i wanted your opinion in the meantime. i would really appreciate it. thanks, mrs.roach[/b]

My 2 year old is having a similar problem in which she is getting a bloddy nose more often. I spoke to the doctor and she said that it is because it is alergy season and the air is really dry. She suggested saline drops. But I can't help but think there has got to be more options besides a huimidifier next to her bed. What did your doctor say?
