blunt trauma to testicle... swelling and bruising all over scrotum

I was hit in the scrotum 6 days ago while playing soccer. My left testicle swelled up and after a few days i noticed bruising. My testicle is still swollen but it has gone down alot. I still am experiencing pain and my scrotum is becoming more bruised as the days pass. The pain also isnt as severe as the first few days but im still worried. Any diagnosis of what I am going through or is this just a painful bruising that has to just take its course?
