Hi, I have spine fracture and can’t heal it for more then two month. There is just little progress. I heard of bone growth stimulator. How does it work? Is it effective?

Bone growth stimulation is the technique applied for promoting bone growth in hard and slow healing fractures. It is based on applying a low electrical current or ultrasound to the fracture. Fraction nonunion appears frequently by adults and smokers. The mechanism of action of electric current is explained as charging concave side of the bone negatively and the convex side gets positively charged. Low intensity ultrasound also have FDA approval for fracture treating. These methods are expensive and take 3 to 6 months to show some progress.
