hey there,
i was wondering if anybody else on here has had a similar story to mine and can offer any advice?
by boyfriend is 24 and has been clean for 3 weeks after going on holiday and being away from it, at first when he got back he seemed really happy, planning things and really being good to me.
then, out of nowhere he said to me yesterday that im ugly and that after two years he never liked the way i looked and although he loves me, for me, it's not enough that he doesn't like me physically and he's left. then, this morning he rang to say that what he said was a lie but that he's just scared of the commitment. it feels very much like he's behaving almost psychotically, going from crying, to be cruel, to violent, to just not caring and back again.
has anybody here had any similar experiences to mine? should i accept that maybe he suddenly finds me unattractive or that he's going through something? i don't want to undermine my self esteem by begging him back etc etc. but i appreciate others opinions of what has happened in their relationships when quitting. thanks xxx |

Hello.. i havent had an exact experience to what you explained, however... Ive quit bud off and on for the last 2 - 3 years... often quitting for intervals of a few months, sometimes only a few days etc...
when i do quit bud, i girls mean a lot more to me, my sex drive increases, and I get all lovy dubby.. but when i smoke weed, i could careless about a relationship, its the reason i havent been in one for some time...
but anyhow, when someone quits bud after a long time, it takes them a long time to get balanced again... its really mind boggling, confusing, and trippy...
so maybe ur bf is really going through something i went through, or maybe he is just a jerk,.. that i do not know, but the one thing i do know is that quitting bud is very difficult, and also very taxing on the brain...
i am 2 completely different people with and without bud, exact opposites... i hope this helped u out, if not i dunno, ttyl |
