My fiance's younger brother, age 15, is currently ill and no one knows why. A couple weeks ago his mother noticed him ticking every now and then. It wasn't prevalent enough to worry her. Saturday before the 4th of July they admitted him to a local hospital because he called the sheriffs office and quoted " the bad men are coming after me" he immediately taped up the house and has been living in fear. The doctors found swelling of his occipital lobe but still think that he's crazy and tried to admit him to psych ward. His mother took him home and is awaiting word from Vanderbilt on their results. Please help. here are his symptoms: Hallucinations, blurred vision, everything looks dirty to him, seizures, ticks, weakness, and brain swelling. Please if anyone has any idea what this may be please post. He has not had any trauma to his brain and has not been in any accidents? How can this just pop up out of no where and progress so quickly?
