breakthrough bleeding with pain?

Im 18 years old and have resently started taking the pill, i am on my second cycle and am experiencing moderate breakthrough bleeding but with it i am also experiencing uncomfort and slight pain in my lower abdomen. I have taken the pill at the exact same time each day and havn't missed any. I wanted to hear of other peoples experiences with this?? and wether or not it is normal for breakthrough bleeding to be accompanied with pain? or if something else is causeing this...i would be interested to hear.
