Hello. I am a 35 years old woman and I have a son that has asthma. When I took him to the doctor, he said that it is bronchitis asthma. Doctor also stated that bronchitis asthma often go away during puberty. My child sometime has trouble breathing and it would be a shame if it would stay that way. We are doing as best as we can to prevent it from happening. Do you know someone whose asthma disappeared in puberty?

I had asthma when I was a kid. Same thing as your son. Don't worry. All persons that I know who had this asthma don't have it anymore. Me for example. My asthma is gone, and I have no problems at all. But, of course, it is crucial that your son has healthy lifestyle. I know cases where asthma came back after twenty years. Good luck.
