| I have a big problem. I am in my third month of pregnancy and I am really afraid of my bronchitis. My doctor says that I do not have anything to worry about and that with proper treatment and therapy, everything would be all right, but somehow I am not convinced. This bronchitis pregnancy really worries me, I curse now all those cigarettes I smoked in last couple of years. |

| During pregnancy, a lot of thing change in woman's body. Aside from visible physical changes, body systems are slightly changing their work intensity. For example, vital lung capacity increases for one hundred to two hundred milliliters. Minute ventilation increases for 40 percent, and amount of oxygen that woman spend rises for 20 percent. Bronchitis is making pregnancy harder than it has to be, but it is, as your doctor said, curable and treatable. Don't worry. |
