brow spotting a week before period

I started spotting and having a very light brown flow for about six days on and off. Its about a wwek or so before my period is due to start. i am on birth control, but i missed a few pills this month. 8 have missed pills before but have never had this problembefore. im not sure what this means? any help?

missingpills can cause this - I have had it quite a few times back in the day when I would miss pills- Its not anything to worry about just your hormones are a little out of whack...the best thing to do is if you miss 2 or more pills instead of trying to catch up in the future throw away the rest of your pack and start a new one. you could have some spotting but it wouldn't reek as much havok on your body as this does.
