Hi can anyone help me?
I am 31 years old, had 3 attempts at IVF over the past 3 years. Last attempt was November last year. The past 2 months I have been getting brown spotting 3-4 days before my period is due. My last PAP was done 3.5 years ago which was normal. The usual brown spotting after my period has lessened too. I don't have any pain with it just anoying as I am unaware of what it is. |

| Do not worry, many people will probably tell you to go see a doctor about it, but there is little a doctor can do because it is a natural occurance. Old and dead tissue from the uterine lining is shedding and keeping the uterus from infection. However, if this sheds in high ammounts and very very often, your body is probably stressed due to an internal malady. This is when you should go to the doctor and get tested for any problems with the reproduction and urinary systems like ovarian cancer, etc. From what you're telling me, it doesn't sound nearly as bad, so for now just treat it like a normal part of your period. The next time you go to the doctor, it wouldn't hurt to bring it up, they might have a medication to reduce it if they feel that it is best and more convenient to you. |
