brown vaginal discharge

I am 26 years old and been off the depo for 3 months now.I have been having brown discharge for a few days between my periods.Also my periods last longer.I never had problems with my periods before.I have been under alot of stress also.Just wondering what could be causing me to have this brown discharge.

that happened to me too, i believe it is just your reproductive system getting rid of all of the built up gunk left over from depo (which prob made your cycle all whacky for a while). i have been off depo for about 2 years now, and it has stopped, and now my cycle is regular - no problems at all; it did continue on that way for about 6-7 months though, maybe longer. as long as you haven't had any potential exposure to any stds (i know chlamydia can cause bloody discharge if left untreated for an extended time), i wouldn't worry too much about it, I'm sure once your body returns to normal things will be fine. oh,and - stay away from depo... it can wreak havoc on your body.
