Hi! It could be side effects from birth control, it could have been implantation bleeding, or it could be just the discharge many women experience before they periods together with PMS symptoms of cramping and nausea.
It is really impossible to say what of these it was because your symptoms resemble all of the conditions.
You shouldn’t have gotten pregnant if you used bc pills correctly, which means every day at approximately the same day. If you missed just one pill, there is a possibility that you ovulated and when this happens you should be using additional protection. So, if everything worked well with bc pills, I would contribute your symptoms to PMS that occur a week prior to your period.
However, if pregnancy occurs, implantation bleeding happens at the same time with the same symptoms which are indicating that the fertilized egg had implanted into the uterus lining and this implantation causes spotting/bleeding and cramping.
Unfortunately, you can’t do anything until the period is supposed to come. If it doesn’t. make sure you do a hpt or see your gynecologist.
I hope everything turns out right! |
