buldging disk c7

I had a mri done and it showed a buldging disk in my neck c7. I just had the corizone injection yesterday. I'm still hurting and i can not go back to physical therpy, i come out of their hurting worse than when i went in and very sick to my stomach. Is their anything i can do at home to get some relief. And work is not helping at all. And are headackes some of the side effects of the shot? thank you for any information

I have a crushed disc in my lower back L5S1 region. I tried everything under the sun. I would suggest you try to get your doctor to write you a script to get what they call a TENS unit. It sends electric impulses to your nerves and blocks the pain. You stick theses little stickers on your problem area & are able to control how intense theTENS unit can go. It isn't painful at all, it actually almost feels like a portable massager lol. They are rather expensive if you pay out of pocket, so try to get your doctor to prescibe it to you & help you find a good one.

You can also try Lidocaine Patches.. they are patches you stick on your problem areas that release a pain medication to relieve that area. You can only get them by a doctor prescribing it to you. You may want to ask about that on your next visit.
