Hello! I’m a 45 female, who has just entered a perimenopausal period ( it seems to me ). I don’t have any severe side effects except for these little bumps on my arms that look like acne. I have never had any serious problems with acne before, but it seems I developed them now. Is there anything I could do to lose them?
Hi there! Adult female acne is more hormonal in nature, so it is not unusual for them to appear from time to time during perimenopause. If they bother you so much, you should ask a dermatologist for an advice. There are a lot of available treatments nowadays. Good luck!!!!

you know it could be keratosis pilaris. that's what the derm diagnosed the bumps on the backs of my arms as. i thought it was adult body acne or something when i first noticed them. there's pictures on this site that might help you determine if thats what you have. www.helpforkp.com
