I’m interested in details about bunion removal with screws. I have to have it removed, because analgesics can’t manage the pain that it causes me. It has started making me difficulties when walk. Fortunately, am not going to wait for a procedure too long, doctor scheduled me in 3 days. What’s the thing with screw, is it going to be
invisible in my toe? Else, how long does the procedure usually last?

Screw or a metal pin may be required to hold toe in the place, because surgeon has to cut into the bones and
improve them. Procedure usually lasts about 30 minutes to 2 hours. Screw is absolutely invisible, your feet will be narrower after the op, you may feel stiffness at the first time, but it can be improved with exercises and physical therapy. It may take about 8 weeks for your foot to heal completely. Believe me, it is such a relief.
