| For about 6 weeks I have had a burning itchy feeling in my stomach. When I sit it goes down in the lower left and right abdomen area. Mostly it is around the belly button, but sometimes it goes into my left and right breast. I have had a full workup: stress test, echo, EGD gallbladder, HIDA SCAN, ultrasound, upper chest xray, abdominal ultra sound, h. pylori test, and complete blood work. All came back normal. This whole burning started when I started taking CEFPODOXIME for sinus issues. When I stopped it immediatedly receded, but has been there ever since. Doctors have told me they have no idea what is causing this. My ENT Doc yesterday told me that it is post nasal drip that is keeping this problem from going away. Any suggestions out there. I need sinus surgery and want this problem cleared up before I schedule it. He gave me amoxicillan to help. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |
