Recently I’ve started experiencing pain in my groin area that can be described as ‘burning’. It doesn’t change in intensity when urinate. Last time I had intercourse was 3 months ago, and used condom. I’m 24 years old. There are no external symptoms on penis and testicles like lumps or something. Sometimes I can feel pain in lower abdomen too, but it differs from this burning sensation in groins.
It may be epydidimitis, its typical symptom is pain in groins. This inflammation can be caused by Chlamydia and gonorrhoea that are sexually transmitted, but also by Escherichia coli that usually infects urinary tract. In some cases reason for development of epydidimitis can be heavy physical exertion. Did you have any injury recently? Anyway, epididimitis has to be treated with antibiotics. I’m telling you about epididimitis because I had it recently. But it doesn’t have to mean that this is reason for your pain in groins. It can also be prostatitis or some kind of scrotal pathology. So go and check it at your physician’s.

i was diagnosed chlamydia in early october by a clinic. after a week of medication i was feeling like new. then about a week or two later my left testicle started feeling different. it was a new type of pain, if i even want to call it pain. i ignored it, like a fool and then my abdomen started to have the same feeling. so i saw my doctor who after only describing what happend said was epydidimitis.
though the chlamydia was gone, could i have transfered epydidimitis sexually?
could a woman carry epydidimitis and transfer it to someone else?
