I work mine in a seated leg press then on a sled type of press using only one calf at a time.
You can try standing calf raises . This is how to do it:
- Stand erect with your knees locked or close to locked;
- Place a barbell across the back of your shoulders and traps;
- Put the balls of your feet on the edge of e4-6" block – note that your toes should be pointed forward;
- Lower your heels as far as possible - until you feel a good stretch in the calf muscles;
- Raise your heels and stand as tall as possible and than hold the contraction for a few seconds;
- Repeat this exercise several times.
Hope this helps.
