I need to know something and I was hoping that you might help me – can I control huntington symptoms one they become stronger? I am 41 years old and I found out about this condition just recently, not a month ago. What am I to do? Doctor explained what will happen to me, but does it have to be that way. Isn't there some solution?

Problem with this illness is the atrophy. Atrophy of brain cells responsible for several various functions, including intellectual abilities. There is no cure that can reverse the damage that is done. There are only medications that help with eliminating the symptoms and make patient's life a bit easier. I am truly sorry that I had to tell you this.
