can i get pregnant while on the pill?

I am on the pill, but I have had a cold that then turned into the flu. Because of this, I've thrown up about six times in the last two months. If I threw up before the pill got digested, could I have gotten pregnant? I'm worried now because I'm not suppossed to get my period for another four days, but I have light spotting and cramps. Could I be pregnant?

You did increase your risk of pregnancy by being sick and throwing up, and you should have used condoms for a back up.

You may not be pregnant, the spotting can simply be from missing pills. Since it is 4 days before your period, you can take a first response early preganncy test just in case.
