| You don't really get a bladder infection from a yeast infection, per se, but it can increase your chances, yes. If you have a yeast infection, it's likely that your small intestine down to your groin is infected with Candida. Many people also have it from their sinuses down to their groin. When this happens, many probiotics, or good bacteria, are depleted from the system due to the overwhelming acidic state and fungal infection. Because of this, bad bacteria are better able to infect the body, such as the bladder, since good bacteria may not be available in the vagina. |
