can you have cramping before period, but possibly pregnant?

I'VE BEEN HAVING CRAMPS LIKE I'M ABOUT TO HAVE MY PERIOD FOR TWO WEEKS. MY PERIOD IS DUE IN ONE DAY. NO TINGE OF BLOOD SO FAR. I TOOK A PREGNANCY TEST A WEEK AGO AND IT WAS NEGATIVE. DO YOU THINK I TOOK THE TEST WAY TOO EARLY?

I came off the pill in november 2006 and have been trying for a baby. I'm always regular and exactly on time, also i get the pre-period cramps, headaches and all the other things you get when its that time of the month. Now i am 2 days late, test came back negative and i'm getting slight pre-period pains. Yet i haven't had any other symptoms. When i accidently got pregnant when i was younger the same thing happened and i found out i was 2 months gone.
Does it mean i'm pregnant now??

I am 37 days into my cycle and I have not gotten my period yet, today and yesterday I have had mild cramping and very light spotting. The longest my cycle has been is 30 days...usually are 26.

See a doctor! Asking for help from peers is fine sometimes, but if it's possible you could be pregnant then your health and that of the baby's could be in jeopardy if you don't seek medical help. Get to the gynocologist asap! Rolling Eyes

I just had my son June 18th 07. I started taking the mini pill birth control because I'm breastfeeding around the 2nd or 3rd week of July. I had a normal period which started July 27th and lasted 6 days..my cycles are usually 30 days. Then I a day or two later had some slight spotting which I assumed was from the birth control. I waited for august 27th and had no period...Then august 30th I started getting cramps...I've had cramps since then and they were so painful I had drs consent to take IBUProfen 800's instead of Tylenol. The pain was so bad it would make me nauseas and bring me to tears. They also said they wanted to switch my birth control. I've also had A LOT(more than when I was pregnant)of this yellowish discharge...and yesterday I went to the bathroom to pee and it was like a stringy mucous that came out of me....the only other time I saw something like that is when I lost my mucous plug before my water broke with my son. I only ever had spotting once or twice towards the beginning when I started having cramps...since then..no period. I have heard birth control doesn't work for some people and my fiance and I have been sexually active...could I be pregnant? Can anyone else relate or tell me what could be going on? hi my last period day were sept 8 or 9 and i have been having minor menstrol like cramps in my lower adominal area and i have spotted once could i be pregnant??? Shocked

I started cramping 5 days before my missed period. I felt like I was just having my period it felt exactly the same. I was also have lower back pains. I took a pregnancy test on the day my period was due and it came back positive! Everyone is different, and its normal and fine to have cramping!
