can you mix different brands of birth control?

long story short can i mix diff birth control brands and if i do will anything happen besides the normal risks.

you can mix them, but i wouldn't recomend it. birth control is a dose of hormones used to controll your cycle. if you mix too many hormones you could get all sorts of messed up. i used the depo shot and started on the patch shortly before the shot was up and i started bleeding. well i didn't stop bleeding for about 3 months. just about two table spoons of blood a day, but wearing pads and tampons for 3 months straight isn't good for you either cause you could get Toxic Shock Syndrom.
