Hi, I guess I would like to know a bit more about hypothyroidism. It seems that my friend has it and I would just want to be able to help her in any way. So, some info would be appreciated. I have also heard there are many medications that could help her; some even mentioned caninthrox or something like that. Can you help me out here?

It is a serious condition in which there is not enough thyroid hormone produced. And this means that speed of the metabolism processes in the organism are a lot slower than they should be. What is even worse, this is almost a common thing today; there are even many people who do not know they have this illness. There are many meds that deal with this condition and I am not sure that caninthrox is one of them (although I heard it might be an animal form of L thyroxin).
