What is the difference between carisoprodol and carisoprodol er? Is there a difference or these are just two registered names. Can I switch from er to carisoprodol? Does it need dose adjustment?

ER is extended release form. It contains 2-4 times more drug than common form. You certainly need dose adjustment. I guess that you can switch, because it is the same drug. ER forms are taken less frequented. Do you know all the precautions for carisoprodol usage?
