If my child is having cat allergy hove do I know? What symptoms occur it a person if allergic? Also, I would like to know how much time of exposure is needed for developing symptoms. If some one has or had similar problem or diagnosed cat allergy, I would be grateful if you share it with me. Thanks in advance.

If your son has often red, itchy and swollen eyes, runny nose, sneezing, coughing and wheezing and frequent bronchitis it is most likely that he has cat allergy. But you will not be certain until you do some checking at doctor. My advice is to take him to a doctor. And about the time, 15-40 minutes after the one is exposed, symptoms of allergy occur.
