I don’t know what to do with hot flashes. I have them day and night. What other women do about it? I started to hate my self. My neighbor told me to buy Catapres patch, so I bought them. I use them weekly 0.1mg/24 h. I know that is too early but I don’t find them effective.

I think that estrogen replacement therapy is the most effective therapy for hot flashes but I know many people cannot take estrogen. I have to tell you that there are side effects from Catapres patches. They include: decrease blood pressure, drowsiness, dizziness, decrease libido, depression, dry mouth, nausea, constipation. I think you should tape it off in case you fell something like this.
