I am interested in cause of palpitations. I am 24 years old and I train handball for almost 8 years now. I have never experienced any medical problems until now so I am worried. Especially now, when I have to make a transfer to a better club. I know that I have to refer to my club doctor, but I want to know if there is a possibility that because of recent events, stress is a cause of palpitations.

It most probably is. I assume that this transfer also involves a decent sum of money, which could set you up for a couple of years, so yes, stress and anxiety could be the cause of palpitations. Still we must not forget about the physiological cause of your trouble. Heart is an organ that can be easily damaged, so you must visit your doctor as soon as you can. Tomorrow morning would be the best.
