I am happily married, 34, female, though I have problems with depression. That is why I was prescribed with celexa. Since then I cannot achieve orgasim. I am somehow embarrassed talking to my doctor on this topic, but is this a normal thing? I mean are there any interaction between celexa and inability to achieve female orgasim?

Hello!
Celexa affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression. And, yes, there is interaction between celexa and decreased sex drive, impotence and difficulty having an orgasm. These are some side effects of celexa and I think you shouldn’t stop taking celexa, but I think you shouldn’t be embarrassed talking to your docotr. You should talk to your doctorif you consider this a problem.
