hi,
has this happened to anyone?
i had a partial hysterectomy (leaving ovaries and cervix) around march of 2005. after 6 months i started to have cyclical bleeding and cramps which worsened every month. this was annoying because i didn't expect this after having my uterus removed. during my annual exam my gyn suggested cauterizing my cervix. after thinking about it for months, i had this done on Oct. 23, 2006. i was told i could expect some cramping and bleeding/spotting for about a month possibly two. from the first week i had severe cramping and some spotting. it went away for a few days and returned. last night as i went to urinate blood was streaming from my vagina. then something came out of me and then i bled like a faucet. it was extremely scary. my hubby thinks it could have been a blood clot. i'm assuming the same and called my doc office this morning. being it was prior to the office opening, i had to leave a voicemail. i'm anxiously waiting for a returned call.
