cervical mucus before menstration

Is it normal to have some vaginal discharge 8 days after ovulation- this is after having some dry days- I am probably a few days form menstration- Does the fluid I am having mean that I am NOT pregnant or is there no correlation???

Before I could even think about an answer I'd have to ask if there were possible other sources of fluid such as after sex (his semen or your own vaginal fluids), after masturbation females can expel a great deal of mucous even if they aren't ovulating. Also, is it hot weather? Is it possible that you are sweating? Just some food for thought.
