Hello there, I am a man who is 36 years old. It would be nice if you tell me everything you know about quadriplegic myopathy. I should be familiar with acute quadriplegic myopathy and I am not. Help me out and I will be grateful. Thank you very much for your help

I will tell you what I know about this condition. You probably haven't known that combination of many other conditions may result in this particular one. Some of these conditions are: severe systemic illness, neuromuscular blocking agents in patients on the mechanical ventilator and corticosteroids. The biggest problem exists because the main symptom is not recognized until the condition progresses considerably. That symptom is severe weakness of every spinal nerve.
