Hello. I have a daughter that is thirteen years old. She is always aliening things, when she does something with one hand, she has to do it with the other. I think she has obsessive compulsive disorder. I think it is called like that. I would like to know something more about obsessive compulsive disorder, and to know what I should do.
You should take her to see a doctor. He will send her to a specialist (psychiatrist or a psychologist), and you will know more from there. Obsessive compulsive disorder is treated with medications and psychotherapy. The meds that are used are: fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, sertraline, and clomipramine. If one drug doesn't work, others should be considered. Good luck.
