I have problems with cholesterol. On my last check my doctor warned me about possible cholesterol blockages in blood vessels and possible stroke. He said I have to take it seriously…that scared me I admit. Anyway I was recommended to try with exercising. Is this going to do any good?
Scientists have discovered that exercise helps the body remove cholesterol from the cells. When people exercise, muscles release cholesterol and this, helps the body to process "bad" cholesterol, which can otherwise build up to clog blood vessels and cause heart attacks or strokes. Your doc has right; high cholesterol causes blockages in blood vessels, and is a major cause of heart disease and stroke.
